Connected World Calling All Innovators and Universities
Connected World Magazine is looking for innovators and universities working to change our world through the development of data-dependent solutions.
Who Is It For?
The program aims to generate a lot of media exposure, potential funding opportunities, and introduce new startup technologies to hundreds of thousands of members of the general public who will be attendance at the Connected World Conference, located within the Chicago Auto Show, this February at McCormick Place. Those potential people or universities who are currently working under the radar now have a chance to get noticed.

Incubators have the chance to show off their work February 8-14. On the weekend of February 15-16 the universities have their time to shine. A panel of industry judges will select winners from each group to appear in special 2014 issues of the Connected World Magazine and to present the case for their technologies in special showcase sessions. There is no charge for universities or incubators to participate, however, space is limited and must be reserved by Jan. 24, 2014. Criteria for Application Are you part of a university or startup incubator that is working on technologies involving any type of data collection or remote operations? Are you working in such area as monitoring and tracking devices, drone technologies, remote control apps for home, fitness, healthcare, security, vehicle technologies, supply chain technologies, or remote manufacturing technologies? Has your hardware or software been, or is being, developed to leverage data gathered remotely? Does your hardware or software access, transmit, or control anything via a data network? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you should complete the online application here. All applications must be received by Jan. 24, 2014. Applicants will be notified that their space is secure once they have submitted their applications.
