This Saturday, Pirelli will be hosting a new Prestige and Performance show at the Salon Prive, featuring supercars and hypercars from 1975 to present. The competition is the centerpiece of Saturday’s Salon Prive Supercar Show at Blenheim Palace.
Several categories are presented, including entries like the Bugatti EB110 SS in the Pre-Millenium Supercar group. This car was the prototype to the lightweight Super Sports version of the now-famous Bugatti. The engine in the car is #026, used in land speed and performance testing for the new model.
A Lamborghini Diablo GT will compete against the Bugatti as one of only 80 of the Countach successor and the most expensive Lambo built to-date.
A rare Maserati MC12 Stradale will also be competing, this one in the “Blink and It’s Gone” class. This road version of the race car that marked the fork’s return to racing and is one of only 50 ever made.
Against it, another raging bull, this one a Lamborghini Reventon Roadster from the United Kingdom. This carbon fiber car was designed after the F15 fighter jet and only 15 were made and this particular one is one of the very few special-order right-hand drive examples.
Against those is the infamous green LaFerrari of Jay Kay, their latest in GT and formula 1 engineering taken to the public street.
Other entries in other classes include a 2009 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Coupe in a special one-off Blu Oltremare color and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.
