Transformers 4: Age of Extinction features GM

Chevrolet and GM Design Chief Ed Welburn – along with Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor, among others – star in the highly anticipated summer blockbuster film Transformers 4: Age of Extinction which made its American premiere in New York City on Wednesday night, June 25 and is in theaters today.

The Chevrolet vehicles in producer Michael Bay’s fourth installment of the iconic film franchise are the: Camaro TF4 Concept (Bumblebee), Corvette Stingray (which converts into Autobot Crosshairs), Trax, and the Sonic RS – which is transformed into a Rally Car.   

GM Design Chief Ed Welburn makes his big screen acting debut in a Transformers 4 scene shot in his office and in the Styling Dome at the GM Design Center. In addition to the GM Design Center, the film makes extensive use of GM facilities as settings, including the Milford Michigan Proving Ground, and the Delta Township Assembly Plant.
