Jaguar Is Taking a Haitus From Carmaking For a While

A switch to an all-electric lineup of vehicle offerings coming for the 2026 model year.

The Jaguar brand is going to disappear for a little while. At least in North America. The reason? A switch to an all-electric lineup of vehicle offerings coming for the 2026 model year.

The company has announced the end of most of its current models, including the XE, XF, and F-Type. The E-Pace and I-Pace will also be ending production this year. Leaving only the F-Pace, but it’s already been removed or never brought to several markets and sales have been slow, marking it for production end in 2025.

The first of the new lineup of Jaguar vehicles will be unveiled near the end of this year. All that’s been said is that it will be an “electric grand tourer.” Which probably means a car. Production is slated for the 2026 model year.

That means there will be a gap between the last of the current Jaguar models and the coming of the new one. Several months to a year, in fact.

Jaguar, however, is part of a larger group of automotive brands that include Land Rover and Ranger Rover. Those will continue in dealerships in Jaguar’s place. And the company plans to move production workers from its current lines of Jaguar vehicles over to the Rover side for the time being.
