Handicapped and Disadvantaged Kids Get Treated to a Ferrari California T

For the past five years, Ferrari North Europe has treated hundreds of handicapped and disadvantaged children to a day at Silverstone Circuit. Last week, another group of deserving kids were treated to the Ferrari California T Experience where the disabled, seriously ill, and disadvantaged kids and their siblings were driven around the Stowe circuit in a California T.

Held in conjunction with the European automotive industry’s BEN charity for families of those injured in the automotive industry and with Rays of Sunshine, a charity very similar to the American Make a Wish Foundation, the California T event involved whole families. The child, sponsored by one of the charities, was taken around the track by a professional driver in a thrill run around the Silverstone circuit in a Ferrari California T. Meanwhile, families were treated to a day of fun in the Stowe Complex courtesy of various sponsors to include PlayStation and Lego. Celebrity attendees mingled with the exclusive guests, including X Factor judge Tulisa Constostavios.

Francesco Balli, Regional Manager for Ferrari North Europe, commented: “It is our honour and privilege to share the exhilaration of riding in a Ferrari with more truly deserving children. We would like to express our gratitude to all the sponsors, some of which have been with us since the beginning of this incredible journey.”
