Checkout this sweet video that Ferrari released of two-time F1 world champion, Fernando Alonso, taking the Ferrari LaFerrari around for a spin on Ferrari’s legendary Fiorano test track. He was supposed to do two “slow” laps in the LaFerrari but of course no F1 driver, or for that matter F1 world champion, is going to drive a supercar around the Fiorano slowly.
Fernando Alonso on the Fiorano track, testing the new LaFerrari. The Spanish driver, who should go slowly for some checks, can’t resist and takes the car to the limit. On board with him: GT driver Andrea Bertolini.
When this video was shoot it seemed Ferrari was not ready to let people see the Ferrari LaFerrari yet as they had it in black-and-white wraps, which makes it difficult to judge the overall shape. Obviously that didn’t stop or slow down Fernando Alonso.
The Ferrari LaFerrari was recently unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show at it turns out that Ferrari’s latest flagship car will be a supercar hybrid! Kind of sounds like an oxymoron, but it isn’t. I wonder if Fernando Alonso will admit to liking driving a hybrids now?
