Our friends at eBay Motors alerted us to a new infographic based on research and surveys done to find out how ready Americans really are for self-driving vehicles. These cars are going to begin plying our roads as manufacturer’s mass-market vehicles sooner than we might think. But are we really ready for them?
The graphic has a lot of interesting content. The vast majority of people still prefer to be in control of their car, for example, and the idea that self-driving cars will reduce accidents is only marginally believed.
