Mazda, Subaru, and Toyota have publicly stated in the past that battery electric vehicles will require a lot of time to meet mainstream consumer demands and that hybrid-electrics and alternative fuels are a better pathway towards efficiency goals.
2025 Cadillac Optiq Unveiled
Cadillac has unveiled a new battery-electric model, the Optiq. Slated for 2025 model year production, the Optiq has about 300 miles of range, all-wheel drive, and segment-best cargo and second row seating space. It has already debuted in Europe.
BMW Updates 3 Series for 2025
The BMW 3 Series receives a mid-cycle refresh for the 2025 model year. The updates include design detail changes for the front and rear portions of the car as well as interior updates that include BMW’s Curved Display feature.
Updates include the M3 performance model from AMG.
Honda Grom miniMOTO Scooter Gets Upgrades
Honda has upgraded the Grom mini scooter for the 2025 model year. Other small models are also returning to market, including the Navi, ADV160, the Ruckus, and the Metropolitan.
Hyundai N Unveils an Ioniq 5 N Time Attack Spec
Hyundai’s performance brand, N, is set to compete in the Nurburgring 24 Hours and has unveiled a specially-equipped Ioniq 5 N TA (Time Attack) at the race. The car will be used to attempt Pikes Peak records this summer.
