Porsche just shattered the Nurburgring Nordschleife record lap time with the company’s Porsche 919 Evo. The time? A quick 5:19:55.
The 919 Evo is a modified hybrid racecar that Porsche has used in LeMans. (You read that right, it is a hybrid.) Timo Bernhard, a Porsche factory driver, was the man behind the wheel and can now claim Nurburgring speed supremacy.
It’s really hard to describe in words how fast a 5 minute and 19 second time is for the famed Nurburgring track. I could go on explaining. This in-car video of the Porsche’s record fast Nurburgring lap time will show everyone. 🙂
