Yahoo is pushing a lot of digital content, with 18 new shows hitting their streams this year. One of those will be Riding Shotgun with Michelle Rodridguez, who gearheads will know from the Fast and Furious series. She is starring in and executive producing the series.
Rodriguez and Yahoo are obviously hoping to capitalize on the success of Furious 7, the latest in the film’s franchises to hit theaters. The show will feature the dynamic Rodriguez getting behind the wheel of cars that most of us can only dream of driving. Then giving her opinion after taking them for a drive.
Other shows that were introduced at an event in New York City included reality competition shows, scripted dramas, and more. Other show hosts and stars will include Naomi Campbell and Simon Cowell.
Yahoo hasn’t officially announced yet, but these shows will probably hit the Interweb this fall.
