There are electric vehicles (EV), such as the fun-around-town Mitsubishi i MiEV, and then there is the Tesla Model S. While both occupy two very opposite end of the spectrum, an early pioneer of EV technology is Croatian Rimac and his Rimac Concept One.
Rimac, early EV pioneer
When a few of us EV writers started back in the prehistory of the electric drivetrain re-introduction, there was little to talk about and only a handful of car companies showed serious interest. Back then, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Tesla were the big names. Two promising companies and projects were tantalizing us with mouth watering electric performance cars. Lightning GT, and Rimac’s outrageous electric car.
Rimac Concept One
The Rimac Concept One is proof electric cars can not only match the best gasoline cars performance, but show that they will replace the internal combustion engine (ICE). The Rimac Concept One boasts super-performance, only rivalled by Mercedes’ electric AMG.

But enough words. Images speak louder.
And to think there are still those who think EVs are for wimps!
