Cadillac has announced that they will begin production of a limited, special-edition 2015 CTS-V Coupe as the final chapter in the current model before the new-generation of the V-series debuts for the 2016 model year.
The 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will be produced in a limited-edition series of 500 cars and will become available in the second-half of this year. The coupe will share the high-performance technology of other V-series predecessors in the 2010-2014 model years. Tech like Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo braking, and a supercharged V8 growling out 556 horsepower.
The CTS-V Coupe is a 2+2 luxury coupe and the special edition will have an Ebony interior treatment exclusive to the V. Recaro performance seating, metal pedals, Midnight Sapele wood trim, a microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a dark-finish V grille, and satin graphite wheels ahead of red brake calipers finish the package.
Pricing for the 500 limited-edition CTS-V Coupes will start at $72,195, including destination and gas-guzzler tax, and customers can begin pre-ordering theirs now at any Cadillac dealership. Exterior color options include Crystal White, Black Diamond (shown, $995 premium option), and Phantom Gray. The CTS-V is available as a six-speed manual or automatic.
“The special edition is a stepping stone to the next-generation V-Series, which will move to the next level with more dynamic design and technical sophistication,” Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing office, Global Cadillac said.
