You can also do smaller things to celebrate Earth Day like changing out inefficient lightbulbs to CFL (compact fluorescent lightbulbs) or LEDs (light emitting diodes) which is use less energy in your home. How about switching your shower-head to a low-flow model? Ok, probably too much to ask but make sure to recycle old automotive fluids and parts which can be harmful to the environment.
