Ricky Gervais is starring in a new series of TV commercials Audi is running for their new A3. Obviously the best way to use a British person on American TV is to make fun of them.
The first commercial shows Ricky Gervais driving the Audi A3 with a little girl in the backseat. The girl, refers to Gervais as “Uncle Ricky” and reads mean Tweets about the comedian who is best known for the original Office TV show which is widely popular in Britain and America.
The girl asks what it all means? Gervais says he is “doing something right” which is probably true. The commercial ends and then Audi’s tagline rolls across the screen: ‘Whatever you do, stay uncompromised’. The commercial is meant to highlight Audi’s 4G LTE connectivity.

The second Audi A3 TV spot features Ricky Gervais and cuts to various famous celebrities singing to parts of the classic Queen song, We Are The Champions. You then see him roll-up in an Audi A3 with a racecar driver that looks like Top Gear’s Stig and he looks out the window and just says “You know how it goes.” The same ‘Whatever you do, stay uncompromised’ rolls at the end.
