Nissan LEAF owner drives over 100,000 miles [video]

A Nissan LEAF owner in Washington State has driven more than 100,000 miles in his electric car, commuting more than 130 miles daily. He was awarded with recognition from Nissan and the State of Washington. The following video clips, courtesy of Nissan, show the event with remarks from several involved, including Steve Marsh, the LEAF owner himself:

“With a daily commute of about 130 miles, I’ve saved more than $9,000 compared to my old gas-powered car since I bought my LEAF,” said Marsh, who credits Washington’s strong charging infrastructure. “With plenty of public charging options, as well as a charger installed at my office, my LEAF is a perfect car for my commute.”
