McLaren P1 makes surprise visit to MP4-28 unveil

When the new Formula 1 challenge car, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-28, was unveiled at the McLaren Technology Centre in Britain, a surprise showing of the close-to-production McLaren P1 was also to be had.

Showing up in testing camouflage, the P1 was driven into the event by 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button.  His teammate, Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez arrived in a 12C Spider in heritage McLaren Orange, completing a full parade of McLaren vehicles, including many championship-winning models like Emerson Fittipaldi’s 1974 M23 and Ayrton Senna’s dominating 1988 MP4/4.
